During help desk so far we have became familiar with the drones. We learned how to use the Mavic pro and also became familiar with the more portable version of the Mavic. It is a great drone to bring on vacation anywhere because it flies about the same distance as the Mavic pro but can be easier to bring around because of how portable the case it comes in and fly anywhere. We also got to pick from different options, mine being 3d printing and got to learn how to make things using the website talent box. We also learned basic fixes for the chrome books. Students received chrome books that seem to be problematic at times. Learning the different quick fixes was the main thing we have focused on. Virtual reality was also another big thing we focused on. Learning to get familiar with different virtual reality games. One being the smartphone virtual reality with the cardboard, and the other being more advanced requiring sticks to use for your hand movements and to switch certain settings, and a helmet type material that simulates the virtual reality world that you choose.

Throughout the week we prepared for the hour of code program, my main responsibility to work with the drone category. In this i was to work with others to code the drone to move. For example a certain coding would be used for the drone to move forward 3 seconds, backwards a couple seconds, or up a few seconds. This demonstrated how the drones were not to only be controlled by a controller or app, but can be controlled with code also. Another thing i took part in was the event with Mitre, i think that this was a great presentation because it had to do with cars for the most part and i like cars. It interested me because the explanation of how the prices of cars has to increase or drop in the matter of months, weeks, or even days was interesting. If these prices weren't met by the competitors then they would not be able to make much business so staying on top of these things is very important.
Weekly reflection- Our main focus was working with drones, to get familiar with drones we have worked with a small drone from brook stone, this's drone helped us get used to the controls a little bit. This drone wasn't really that great, it was hard to control it and would undergo problems a little bit. To get more advanced Mr. Wong bought his own drone which was definitely a lot better than the brook stone drone, this drone had some features that allowed us to capture very clear video and pictures. This drone is also able to fly 400 feet in the air. Controlling this drone was a lot easier than I expected, the drone was very smooth and it is pretty hard to lose control of it. Once becoming more comfortable with it I was able to adjust the camera so that I could take pretty clear pictures and videos.
Weekly Reflection- Throughout the week we have worked with the Rasperry Pi learning to capture pictures and videos. These pictures could also be taken in groups at intervals, for example a picture would be taken and you could move the camera to a different position and within a few seconds another picture will be taken and this process repeats for the amount of pictures you would like. Looking more into the upcoming weeks we will be starting a project which i am debating in whether to work more with the drone and capturing footage or to work with game play in video games and how they improve games over the years. Both of these topics interest me especially the one involving video games because my thoughts were to work with FIFA and see the different ways they change the game to make it more enjoyable every year.
Weekly Reflection- Through the first few weeks we have learned a lot about the different types of technology used in help desk. For example, we played around a bit with Baxter seeing how his features worked. Also, we worked with the A.R sandbox testing out how the different features worked. Virtual reality was also used, something I am somewhat familiar with. In all I have learned a lot more about what help desk has to offer, and new technology that I have never been familiar with before
